Page 1 of the November 26, 2025 gag order entered in Berg v. Bryant (No. 2025-CP-10-03124), the case in which Mace was impleaded as a Third-Party Defendant. Court filing, Charleston County Court of Common Pleas.

This entry is a neutral overview of the civil litigation cluster involving Rep. Nancy Mace. Full, per-case docket indexes, with complete filing tables and sourcing notes, now live in the Court Filings section:

  • Mace v. Bowman, No. 2025-CP-10-02733 (defamation)
  • Mace v. Bryant, No. 2024-CP-10-01725 (partition / settlement enforcement)
  • Berg v. Bryant, No. 2025-CP-10-03124 (civil suit; Mace impleaded as Third-Party Defendant)
  • ADW v. Berg, No. 2025-CP-10-2671 (Bryant's company sued Berg over a non-disparagement clause; Mace inserted herself as a proposed intervenor to recover materials she had shared)
  • Mace Federal Removal, No. 2:26-cv-00305-BHH-MHC (D.S.C.) (Mace's pro se removal of Berg v. Bryant to federal court)

The summaries below are retained as a brief overview. Every case is searchable on the South Carolina Judicial Branch Public Index (publicindex.sccourts.org) by case number. Allegations in any pleading are the contentions of the filing party and are not findings of fact unless adopted by the court in an order; where a party has denied an allegation, that denial is part of the record.

Court filings are public records. The dispatches linked below quote them verbatim and attribute each quotation to the document and party that produced it.

Standards for this section

Because litigation is easily mischaracterized, this section holds to a higher sourcing bar than the rest of the wiki: no matter is summarized without a citation to the underlying filing or order, and allegations are labeled as allegations until adjudicated. The dockets include administrative entries (electronic-filing notices, pro hac vice admissions, continuances) that are listed for completeness but carry no quotable substance; standalone dispatches were written only for the substantive filings.
