On March 10, 2025, Patrick Bryant posted publicly in defense of Brian Musgrave, one of the men Rep. Nancy Mace had named in her February 10 House floor speech:

"I love Brian Musgrave like a brother. He has been my best friend for 36 years, the best man at my wedding, and the most honorable, trustworthy man I've ever known. Absolutely everything said about him is a lie. She had 10 days to show the evidence, and those days are up."

He pointed to CNN's reporting that day:

"As CNN reported: 'Musgrave said "Absolutely not" when asked if he had done any of the things Mace said he did. He also denied ever having witnessed any of the alleged crimes Mace talked about.'"

The post directed readers to that evening's Anderson Cooper 360° segment on CNN.

This dispatch documents Patrick Bryant's own public statement. The men Mace named deny her allegations; Mace denies Bryant's; no related criminal charges have been filed, and the dispute is the subject of ongoing civil litigation. See People in the Public Record.
