On October 8, 2026, Rep. Nancy Mace posted on X about Bernadette Greene-Placentia, an Arizona congressional candidate who says she was raped while repairing a campaign sign: 'She should not have come forward, she will get excoriated for this.' "IDK who needs to hear this, but a consensual gangbang is not a rape": Nancy Mace posts it, and the reply section answers
On the night of October 8, 2026, Rep. Nancy Mace posted on X: 'IDK who needs to hear this, but a consensual gangbang is not a rape.' Most replies read it as a comment on the Cornell Chi Phi lawsuit. The reply section answered with a wave of 'I defer to your expertise' and 'speaking from experience' jokes. On her first recorded call with Ali Berg, in April 2024, Mace told Berg, who said she had no memory of the night, 'There's no way in hell you consented to it based on what I saw.' Her own words, side by side.
