Mace on transgender bathroom resolution: 'This is the last war on women and I aim to stop it'
On November 19, 2024, Mace introduced a House resolution barring transgender women from Capitol restrooms the week before Rep.-elect Sarah McBride was to be sworn in as the first openly transgender person elected to Congress.

On November 19, 2024, introducing her House resolution to bar transgender women from Capitol restrooms, Mace said:
"This is the last war on women and I aim to stop it."
At the same press event, Mace told reporter Pablo Manríquez: "Sarah McBride doesn't get a say in this. If you're a biological man, you shouldn't be in women's restrooms." Democrats called the resolution "just plain bullying."
