'It's Definitely AI Scripting': The Damage Report's Hosts Pick Apart Nancy Mace's New Get Maced Show
On its August 17, 2026 episode, The Damage Report (TYT) spent several minutes on Nancy Mace's new YouTube show, Get Maced. Host John Iadarola said 'it's definitely AI scripting' and that the thumbnails are AI. Co-host Jayar Jackson said she should 'tell Grok or whatever AI she's using to stop creating images of her with her mouth gaping wide open.' These are the hosts' opinions, not Mace's words and not findings by Maceopedia. This entry plays seven of their passages in order, with the full corrected transcript, and sets them beside the one AI-related finding Maceopedia has verified itself: a fabricated press photo in the August 12 Get Maced intro.
Reporting credit: this entry is built on The Damage Report, the daily TYT show, and its August 17, 2026 episode, "Nancy Mace Launches INSANE New Show After Humiliating Election Downfall" (hosts John Iadarola and Jayar Jackson; their own cited source is Yahoo News). Follow them at @TheDamageReport, @johniadarola and @JayarJackson. None of the words below are Nancy Mace's. Every line is the opinion of the host who said it, and the speaker for each passage was confirmed from the video frames.
"It's definitely AI scripting. It's got lazy, tired AI scripted jokes in it."
That is John Iadarola, host of The Damage Report, on the August 17, 2026 episode, talking about the Get Maced show Nancy Mace launched on her own YouTube channel after the primary. Earlier in the same passage he said "the thumbnails are AI." Co-host Jayar Jackson, a few minutes later, put it this way:
"She should really tell Grok or whatever AI she's using to stop creating images of her with her mouth gaping wide open."
Both are opinions stated on air by named critics. Maceopedia has not tested whether her thumbnails or her scripts are made with AI, and this entry does not say they are. What it does is put the hosts' words on the record, in order and in context, and set them beside the one AI-related thing Maceopedia has checked itself.
The seven passages, in order
The video at the top of this entry is our edited, captioned cut of The Damage Report's footage: seven hard-cut passages, 80 seconds in all, each captioned with the name of the host who said it. Nothing inside a passage is altered. The times below are where each passage begins in their original episode.
| Original episode | Host | What the host said |
|---|---|---|
| 0:30 | John Iadarola | "So you can watch this for her future plans, where the best efforts of AI have generated something almost like her face there for that thumbnail, so that's cool." |
| 1:54 | John Iadarola | "And you can see from the Grok image that's kind of like her face that it makes her sad." |
| 2:25 | John Iadarola | "So I was gonna say, it's almost as if she got ChatGPT to come up with what she should talk about. But that's almost certainly what she did. The thumbnails are AI. I've watched some of the videos. You don't have to because it is the most boring scripted crap ever. It's definitely AI scripting. It's got lazy, tired AI scripted jokes in it. Where she gives like the 50th exactly the same take on Sophie Cunningham that you've heard from every other right wing grifter online." |
| 3:23 | Jayar Jackson | "She should really tell Grok or whatever AI she's using to stop creating images of her with her mouth gaping wide open." |
| 4:45 | John Iadarola | "Go get a real job, Nancy, you're not good at the content stuff." |
| 5:03 | Jayar Jackson | "Even when doing this, it has to be written for it, it has to be produced, it has to be created, AI, everything is done for her." |
| 5:32 | John Iadarola | "You ask Grok to make something that kind of looks like your face a little bit, like print out a script or whatever, soon she won't even have to read the script, that'll be AI too. Wonderful, great career, Nancy Mace, you're a real credit to America." |
The 9:16 version of the clip, for Facebook, YouTube Shorts and X, uses the third, fourth and seventh passages and runs about 43 seconds.
What Maceopedia has checked itself
One AI-related claim about Get Maced is on this site's record as a finding, not an opinion. A frame in the branded intro montage that Mace posted to her own channel on August 12, 2026 is AI-generated or AI-composited: three network microphone flags in a press-gaggle shot carry logos that read "ADFT / MIEET" and "PRBS / IEWS," and no real broadcaster uses them. Maceopedia's native-1080p review scored the frame 96 percent AI. See the August 12 entry for the zoomed evidence.
That finding is about one frame in the intro. It does not establish what the hosts said about her thumbnails, her face images or her scripts, and Maceopedia is not claiming it does.
Where this sits in the record
Mace finished fifth in the June 9, 2026 Republican primary for governor of South Carolina and did not seek re-election to her House seat. Get Maced is the show she started on her own channel afterward. The hosts also commented on its audience in this episode (an aside at 3:03 about "50,000 views a video or whatever"). Maceopedia's own dated record of the channel's views and subscribers is in these entries:
- Get Maced posts three straight misses after a 9-day hiatus, September 10, 2026.
- Get Maced viewership, August against September, September 30, 2026.
- "75,000 subscribers" at 0:35, "almost a hundred thousand" at 14:32, October 1, 2026.
- The running record on the Get Maced hub.
Transcript of the segment
The Damage Report's August 17, 2026 segment on the show, from the audio, corrected for the names the speech-recognition pass got wrong ("Nancy Mace," and the hosts' "Jayar"). The two hosts trade lines through the segment, so speakers are named only for the seven passages in the table above. One sentence of on-air speculation about her view counts is omitted and marked [...]. Opinions throughout are the hosts', including the cold open and the closing riff, and every line is theirs and not Mace's.
- 0:00 Nancy Mace sucked up to Donald Trump, but it wasn't enough, mostly because she sucked in literally every other way too. She's a terrible politician, her own staff hated her, she was a grifter and it was very obvious.
- 0:10 And so when she tried to move on to higher office, she failed, she burned out, she didn't get Trump's endorsement, she lost the primary, and now she's about to leave Congress.
- 0:20 So I know you've all been wondering, what's she gonna do after this? And obviously content, obviously she's going to YouTube. In fact, she's actually already there. So you can watch this for her future plans, where the best efforts of AI have generated something almost like her face there for that thumbnail.
- 0:41 So that's cool. The channel is called Get Maced, presumably because listening to her commentary irritates the eyes and ears like being sprayed by chemical weapons. I think that's what they're going for. I'm not sure. But the title of that video, the promo video for the channel is Nancy Mace hints, the shocking next chapter after leaving DC and it's not shocking though.
- 1:04 Nothing about this is shocking. The only shocking possibility would have been if she had like come to accept that she had tried and failed to grift her way into higher office and eventually accepted that and then gone and gotten a normal job like a regular person.
- 1:20 That would have been shocking if she had put up a video it was like, I tried and it didn't work out. So I think I'm gonna become a teacher. I love kids. I'm gonna go teach in elementary school. That would be shocking. No, desperately clinging to relevance by grifting over Sophie Cunningham and Islam and communism taking over the Democratic Party. That's literally the least shocking thing that she could have done. And this is not hypothetical for me.
- 1:46 This is a screenshot of the last video she's put up. So she's exposing animal sacrifices. I'm gonna have to watch that one. And you can see from the Grok image that's kind of like her face that it makes her sad. So let's see, Islam invasion, communist threat with Hassan's photo.
- 2:05 You've got literally in that six video run, there are two videos about the WNBA and Sophie Cunningham. More stuff about Islam. No one's above the law. But don't worry, she's talking about Fauci, not about Donald Trump or whatever. And that's it. That's the most obvious.
- 2:25 So I was gonna say it's almost as if she got ChatGPT to come up with what she should talk about, but that's almost certainly what she did. The thumbnails are AI. I've watched some of the videos. You don't have to because it is the most boring scripted crap ever.
- 2:41 It's definitely AI scripting. It's got lazy, tired AI scripted jokes in it. Where she gives like the 50th exactly the same take on Sophie Cunningham that you've heard from every other right wing grifter online. But also, something is going on, Jayar, because I looked at her channel, she had done content for a while, nobody ever viewed it.
- 3:03 The second she launches this new show, she's getting 50,000 views a video or whatever. And I watched the videos, it's boring crap. [...] here's her new move, what do you think of it?
- 3:17 Apparently she's surprised about everything that she's talking about according to these headlines. She should really tell Grok or whatever AI she's using to stop creating images of her with her mouth gaping wide open. People are not gonna do well with that.
- 3:33 Also who knew she had tattoos all over the place, when did that happen? She does actually have to, so they're in the promo video. Yeah. She's like in a bikini with tattoos. She's like, I'm punk or whatever. No, the video is just the standard Newsmax thing or whatever. This is desperate.
- 3:50 You want something desperate? Can we put up that graphic number two? This would be the last point I make. So on the bottom right, you see take on WNBA, which isn't even like, I don't even know, what point are you making? Are you taking?
- 4:01 Anyway, the title is Nancy Mace and Sophie Cunningham slam WNBA, I said what I said. And I thought, she got Sophie Cunningham? They're slamming, no, no, no. She just means that she's slamming the WNBA and Sophie Cunningham slammed the WNBA.
- 4:20 So Nancy Mace and Sophie Cunningham slammed the WNBA. Imagine if I was like Bernie Sanders and John Iadarola slammed the Democrat. Well, yeah, technically, but that's not what that title means.
- 4:30 Also, if you were to ask Sophie Cunningham, she's not slamming the WNBA. She just said the thing I said about trans players who aren't in the WNBA, I did mean that. So it's just such grifting, lying trash. Go get a real job, Nancy, you're not good at the content stuff.
- 4:48 What I never thought about was these folks who, she said leaving DC by the way, she's not leaving DC, she's been run out of DC. That's true. But also, there's not many skills that they have available to do anything else.
- 5:00 You never really think about it. What else does she know how to do? Even when doing this, it has to be written for, it has to be produced, it has to be created, AI, everything is done for her. What does she know how to do?
- 5:11 There's so many jobs in the world. Go work at a library, I'm sure that they need help. There's so much that you could do, but she's like, no, I thought I was gonna be president someday, I'm a famous person. I mean, nobody that's ever interacted with me likes me even on the right, but I've gotta be famous, I've gotta be famous. [The host is imitating her here, from "she's like" through "I've gotta be famous". Those are not her words.] And so that's what this produces.
- 5:32 You ask Grok to make something that kinda looks like your face a little bit, like print out a script or whatever, soon she won't even have to read the script, that'll be AI too. Wonderful, great career, Nancy Mace, you're a real credit to America.

August 14, 2026 · DispatchNancy Mace's 'GET MACED' Podcast Intro Contains an AI-Fabricated Press Photo With Fake Network Mic Flags
One frame in the branded intro montage of Rep. Nancy Mace's 'GET MACED' podcast, posted to her own YouTube channel on August 12, 2026, is AI-generated or AI-composited. A native 1080p, region-by-region review by Maceopedia scored the frame 96 percent AI on the strength of three fabricated network microphone flags that read 'ADFT / MIEET' and 'PRBS / IEWS,' none of which is a real broadcaster. The 'West Virginia' banner in the very same frame is spelled correctly while the small logo text is gibberish, a signature of generative text rendering rather than video compression. This is a separate finding from the tattoo-sleeve question raised about the same intro, which remains unresolved and hedged.
August 14, 2026 · DispatchReal, or AI? Nancy Mace's 'GET MACED' Podcast Intro Has Viewers Asking
The intro montage in Rep. Nancy Mace's 'GET MACED' podcast opening includes frames showing an extensive colorful arm tattoo sleeve (an American-traditional eagle, mountain landscape, and roses) that struck many viewers as AI-generated, since it does not appear in other verified photographs of her, including real beach and surf footage from the same video. A frame-by-frame look at the moving footage, though, shows the ink tracking her arm through motion: a detail that argues against AI generation. Her former campaign manager testified under oath that her tattoos are, 'I think words.' Mace has a documented history of posting AI-generated images of herself, including in May 2026.
August 17, 2026 · DispatchReal, or AI? A 'GET MACED' Tattoo Clip Is Circulating Before Nancy Mace's Own Episode Premieres
A 15-second video posted to X by a third party appears to show Nancy Mace debuting her tattoos and calling herself 'totally broken' for her 'GET MACED' show. Maceopedia cannot confirm the clip is authentic and could not trace it to any of Mace's own verified accounts. What we can verify: her own YouTube channel is premiering a tattoo-reveal episode, 'Nancy Mace BREAKS THE INTERNET with Tattoos,' on August 17, 2026 at 8:00 PM ET. Because that episode has not aired, we cannot yet compare this clip against the source footage, and her 'GET MACED' content has already raised AI-generation questions. We show the clip in full and will update with a verdict once the official episode premieres.

October 7, 2026 · Dispatch'75,000 Subscribers' at 0:35, 'Almost a Hundred Thousand' at 14:32: Nancy Mace Gives Two YouTube Counts in One Get Maced Show
Thirty-five seconds into her Thursday, October 1, 2026 Get Maced stream, Nancy Mace said her YouTube channel had 'just hit our milestone' of 75,000 subscribers. Thirteen minutes and 57 seconds later, in the same stream, she said 'we have almost a hundred thousand, we're getting towards a hundred thousand on YouTube.' Maceopedia's tracker had the channel at 75,400 that day. Six days later YouTube's own public display read 77K. This entry puts the two lines, the clock, and the public count side by side. August 30, 2026 · DispatchThe Babylon Bee turns the Mace tattoo bit into a video: matching ink with a sleeveless Speaker Johnson
Two days after it ran the joke as a fake news article, The Babylon Bee turned its Nancy Mace tattoo bit into a produced, roughly 24-second AI video, posted August 20, 2026. It imagines Mace and House Speaker Mike Johnson discovering they got the exact same arm tattoos, complete with an AI Johnson in a sleeveless dress shirt showing matching JUSTICE, roses, and saint ink. It is satire, AI-generated, and none of it happened, but it is a clean marker of how far Mace's viral tattoos have burrowed into the culture.
