Mace declares herself 'THE LEADING VOICE on women's issues'
Invoking her account of surviving rape and domestic violence, Mace posted on X that she is 'THE LEADING VOICE on women's issues in the party.'
On October 14, 2024, Rep. Nancy Mace posted on X (@NancyMace):
"I'm a rape survivor, and survivor of domestic violence and abuse, and I'm a mom. To all women everywhere, I see you. I am THE LEADING VOICE on women's issues in the party."
Mace has frequently cited her account of being a survivor of rape and abuse in her public messaging, including in debates over abortion policy and her 2024 Capitol restroom proposal.
