Nancy Mace and the UFOs: The Definitive Video
Every UFO and UAP statement Nancy Mace has made on the record, from the 2023 hearing question about the bodies of the pilots to her 2026 words on NewsNation, set beside what the Pentagon, AARO, federal agencies and the White House said.
"If you believe we have crashed craft, stated earlier, do we have the bodies of the pilots who piloted this craft?"
That is Rep. Nancy Mace, questioning witness David Grusch at the House Oversight hearing on UAP, July 26, 2023. Grusch, a former Air Force intelligence officer, answered: "As I've stated publicly already in my News Nation interview, biologics came with some of these recoveries, yeah." Over the next three years Mace asked more questions about unidentified anomalous phenomena in hearings, on air and on her own show. This page sets her words beside what government agencies said in reply.

Chapter 1: July 26, 2023, the hearing
The House Oversight Subcommittee on National Security, the Border, and Foreign Affairs held a hearing on UAP. Rep. Glenn Grothman chaired. Mace was a questioning member, not the chair.
At the hearing Mace said: "Since the Roswell incident in 1947, many Americans have wondered about the dangers of unknown objects crisscrossing our skies, whether these are UAPs or weather phenomena, advanced technology from American allied or enemy forces or something more out of this world."
Answering her first question, Grusch said: "I've actually never seen anything personally, believe it or not."
Mace: "Based on your experience and extensive conversations with experts, do you believe our government has made contact with intelligent extraterrestrials?"
Grusch: "Something I can't discuss in a public setting."
Mace: "If you believe we have crashed craft, stated earlier, do we have the bodies of the pilots who piloted this craft?"
Grusch: "As I've stated publicly already in my News Nation interview, biologics came with some of these recoveries, yeah."
Mace: "Were they, I guess, human or non-human biologics?"
Grusch: "Non-human, and that was the assessment of people with direct knowledge on the program I talked to that are currently still on the program."
Asked about the evidence, Grusch said: "The specific documentation I would have to talk to you in a SCIF about."
Grusch testified under oath as a private whistleblower. As he described it, his claims rest on what he says others with direct knowledge told him. Before the hearing, Pentagon spokesperson Sue Gough told ABC News (Jay O'Brien and Luis Martinez, June 8, 2023) that AARO "has not discovered any verifiable information to substantiate claims that any programs regarding the possession or reverse-engineering of extraterrestrial materials have existed in the past or exist currently."
Official transcript: House Oversight, July 26, 2023.
Chapter 2: The interviews afterward
On WCBD News 2, July 27, 2023, Mace said: "It's not about little green men. This is about national security. It's about technology."
On the Hard Factor podcast, Aug. 25, 2023, she described the question about the bodies: "When I had asked the question about the bodies of the pilots, that, we were like an hour and a half into the hearing. I had run out of questions." And: "The simplest question is the best question."
On the same show she said: "And if you want to buy that really cool non-human biologics shirt, NancyMace.org forward slash store."
Asked to say she knows for a fact that aliens are real, she answered: "No. I gotta put my hands on it. I gotta wear gloves."
Chapter 3: Nov. 13, 2024, the joint hearing
On November 13, 2024, the House Oversight Committee held the joint hearing "Unidentified Anomalous Phenomena: Exposing the Truth." Mace, chair of the Subcommittee on Cybersecurity, Information Technology, and Government Innovation, co-chaired it with Rep. Glenn Grothman.
Mace said: "This includes, of course, any knowledge of extraterrestrial life or technology of non-human origin. If government-funded research on UAPs has not yielded any useful knowledge, we also need to know those facts." And: "So if there is no there there, then why are we spending money on it, and by how much? ... Because I'm not a mathematician, but I can tell you that doesn't add up."
On the Immaculate Constellation document from journalist Michael Shellenberger: "But 12 pages about this unacknowledged special access program that your government says does not exist."
She said: "And Representative Luna just told me, if I say Immaculate Constellation, I'll be on some list. Maybe a FISA warrant, so come at me, bro, I guess." The first clause relays what Rep. Anna Paulina Luna told her.
Retired Rear Admiral Tim Gallaudet, on satellite imagery: "It was a UAP, ma'am." And: "They called it the button. It was a disk shaped object." Asked where it was, he said: "I can't tell you that, ma'am."
Mace to Lue Elizondo, a former Defense Department official and author: "Has the government conducted secret UAP crash retrieval programs? Yes or no?" Elizondo: "Yes."
Mace: "Were they designed to identify and reverse engineer alien craft? Yes or no?" Elizondo: "Yes."
Mace: "How can the government deny we have recovered craft if they're paying people because they've been injured by recovered craft?" Elizondo described injuries "as a result of a UAP incident." Mace: "It's a crazy idea, right? The hypocrisy and the logic."
Asked whether he had been read into Immaculate Constellation, Elizondo said: "I would not be authorized to confirm nor deny the existence of any ongoing or past program".
Her last question asked how the witnesses would define non-human biologics and non-human intelligence. Gallaudet answered: "that's probably what's visiting us."
To NBC News (Gadi Schwartz), Nov. 14, 2024, Mace said: "I have not seen those images or footage, but of course, we're going to want to go digging for it in a SCIF right after this." And: "we learned today that there are federal employees and individuals injured by craft retrieval programs ... So you can't tell me it doesn't exist."
In a press release on Nov. 15, 2024, she wrote: "the Pentagon's report last night proves what we've been saying for years: there's a serious transparency problem."

Chapter 4: The drones
On Redacted with Clayton Morris, Dec. 7, 2024, Mace said: "If they are from Russia, if they are from China, then where's the mothership?"
On OutKick The Show with Clay Travis, Dec. 17, 2024, she said: "They are not being forthcoming. They're lying to the American people about these drones over in New Jersey." And: "I'm going to have to see an alien body on a gurney." And: "my concern is if it's not craft from outer space, because I think that has to be on the table, that has to be an option." And: "I hope that it's not our adversaries or something from outside the universe." And: "given the size of the universe ... the odds are in your favor."
On Late Night with Seth Meyers, Dec. 19, 2024, Meyers said: "In one clip, she managed to sound like a whole rack of supermarket tabloids. Is it aliens? Is it Russia and China? Are Brad and Jen getting back together?"
The DHS, FBI, FAA and DoD joint statement in December 2024 said: "We have not identified anything anomalous and do not assess the activity to date to present a national security or public safety risk over the civilian airspace in New Jersey or other states in the northeast."
On Timcast IRL, Jan. 12, 2025, Mace said: "there are consistently two shapes that are unknown and unidentified. The government, our government, cannot explain."
At the White House press briefing on Jan. 28, 2025, Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt read a statement from President Trump: "After research and study, the drones that were flying over New Jersey in large numbers were authorized to be flown by the FAA for research and various other reasons."
On Ask a Pol UAP (published April 27, 2025), Mace said: "Trump said that? Yes, I believe him." And: "Because I trust Donald Trump." And: "he came out and said he would disclose it, and then he did."
Chapter 5: 2025, the task force
In February 2025 the House Oversight Task Force on the Declassification of Federal Secrets was announced, chaired by Rep. Anna Paulina Luna. Mace is a member, not the chair (Oversight Committee announcement).
At the task force hearing on Sept. 9, 2025, Mace said: "Some of this stuff can be, I think, debunked, right? There are sometimes, there are weather balloons that look kind of little funky, or drones or whatever." And: "They compartmentalize the information ... If you don't have the name, you don't know what to ask for."
She asked: "Do you think that any of this is a psyop by the U.S. government?" George Knapp answered: "Entirely possible."
She also said: "I didn't even get to the crash retrieval program stuff yet ... There's just so much."
Official transcript: govinfo.gov. Video: CBS News.
Chapter 6: 2026
On NewsNation's On Balance with Leland Vittert, July 2026, Mace said: "one of the videos that came out today looks like a cluster of balloons. ... I'm not an expert in this, but it looks like balloons and it's floating with the wind. Why do we say that we don't know what it is?" And: "I have seen certain objects, Leland, in a SCIF that I can't discuss that I would really like the American people to see."
Vittert asked: "You really believe that, that over 80 years, somehow these three-letter agencies have managed to keep secrets from everybody, and nobody has ever spoken out?" Mace: "I do."
Asked whether the images would prove aliens, she said: "No, I don't think it would prove that there's aliens. I've seen no proof of that."
On Ask a Pol UAP in September 2026 she said: "Are they going to release those tapes that I know I've seen that aren't out yet?" And: "I want people to see what I've seen. That's what I want."
What the record shows
The two sides of this record are on the page in their own words.
What Mace and her witnesses said. At the 2023 hearing Grusch testified that "biologics came with some of these recoveries" and that they were "Non-human," and that this was the assessment of people he spoke to, not something he saw: "I've actually never seen anything personally." In 2024 Elizondo answered "Yes" to both of Mace's crash retrieval questions, and said he could not confirm or deny Immaculate Constellation. Gallaudet said a satellite image showed "a disk shaped object" and "It was a UAP, ma'am," and declined to say where it was. In 2026 Mace said she has seen objects in a SCIF she cannot discuss, and also that she has "seen no proof" of aliens.
What the government said. The Pentagon's Sue Gough, June 2023, to ABC News: AARO "has not discovered any verifiable information to substantiate claims that any programs regarding the possession or reverse-engineering of extraterrestrial materials have existed in the past or exist currently." AARO Historical Record Report Volume I (March 8, 2024), p. 7: "AARO found no empirical evidence for claims that the USG and private companies have been reverse-engineering extraterrestrial technology." DoD FY2024 Consolidated Annual Report on UAP (November 2024), p. 2: "It is important to underscore that, to date, AARO has discovered no evidence of extraterrestrial beings, activity, or technology." DHS, FBI, FAA and DoD, December 2024, on the New Jersey drones: "We have not identified anything anomalous and do not assess the activity to date to present a national security or public safety risk over the civilian airspace in New Jersey or other states in the northeast." The White House, Jan. 28, 2025, reading the president's statement: the drones "were authorized to be flown by the FAA for research and various other reasons."

Where the two meet. Mace answered the Pentagon report in her Nov. 15, 2024 press release: "the Pentagon's report last night proves what we've been saying for years: there's a serious transparency problem." The documentary takes no position on which account is correct. It shows both, with dates, speakers and sources.

Nancy Mace was recorded Not Voting on the July 14 passage vote, and in her final year in Congress she missed a higher share of roll calls than all but two of the 426 members on the Clerk's record for every roll call. Through September 16 she was Not Voting on 103 of 314 roll calls, 32.8 percent. Two members missed more, and both told the public why. For July 13 and 14, and for most of her other missed votes, we found no reason from her. Her absence did not change the 308 to 117 result, and the Senate has not acted. October 22, 2026 · DispatchNancy Mace is leaving Congress. Why, and what is next?
Nancy Mace recorded her goodbye to Congress at home on Oct. 22, 2026. She leaves the U.S. House on Jan. 3, 2027, and gives four reasons: a term-limit promise, press coverage she calls false, threats, and fatigue. Each is set beside the public record, from her 2020 win to fifth place in the June 9 governor primary, along with reasons she did not list: a House Ethics review with no announced result, and $176,206.28 in campaign payments to two law firms that the FEC filings describe only as legal fees, with no FEC investigation on the public record. Then the race for her seat and the media business she is building next.
October 21, 2026 · DispatchNancy Mace's campaign paid her lawsuit lawyers $176,206
FEC filings show Nancy Mace for Congress paid $176,206.28 in six months, from Dec. 22, 2025 to June 15, 2026, to two law firms: Pillsbury Winthrop Shaw Pittman LLP ($150,000 in three payments) and Moorman Law Firm LLC ($26,206.28). Those are the two firms on the signature block of the defamation suit Mace filed in May 2025 against Eric Bowman, which her complaint says she brought as a private citizen. The campaign had reported about $24,264 in legal fees in the seven years before, and it reported $0.00 in receipts for January through June 2026. Every filing line says only legal fees. No public record shows what the payments covered, and there is no finding of any violation and no FEC matter on the public record. This documentary, about fifteen minutes with a Short, lays out the filings, the court record and her own words.
