Mace Wants a Public Execution, Then Calls Juror Criticism a 'Lynching'
On September 14, 2026, Nancy Mace told TMZ she wanted Lindsay Clancy 'publicly executed' as a 'warning to women everywhere.' About a week later, on the September 23 episode of her podcast Get Maced, Mace called criticism of the holdout juror in that same case 'a modern day lynching' and claimed Democrats founded the KKK. The Klan was founded in Pulaski, Tennessee in 1865 by former Confederate veterans.

"This is a modern day lynching."
Rep. Nancy Mace, on her podcast Get Maced, September 23, 2026 [19:53].
On September 14, 2026, Nancy Mace told TMZ she wanted a defendant "publicly executed" and said that execution should serve as "a warning to women everywhere." About a week later, on the September 23 episode of her podcast Get Maced, Mace returned to the same case and reached for a very different word. Criticism of the holdout juror, she said, is "a modern day lynching." The quotes are hers, nine days apart, and this dispatch sets them side by side.
What Mace said on September 23
On the September 23, 2026 episode of Get Maced, at the 19:53 mark, Mace addressed the deadlocked jury in the Lindsay Clancy case and framed criticism of the holdout juror this way:
"It was Democrats that started the KKK, and now Democrats are figuratively lynching... This is a modern day lynching."
Rep. Nancy Mace, Get Maced, September 23, 2026 [19:53]. The ellipsis omits her reference to the individual juror. We do not repeat identifying detail about any juror.

The receipt: nine days earlier
On September 14, 2026, TMZ reported Mace's own words about the very same case. She did not reach for restraint then. Mace said she wanted the defendant, Lindsay Clancy, "publicly executed," and framed that execution as "a warning to women everywhere."
So the sequence, in her own words, is this. On September 14, a "public execution" as "a warning to women everywhere." On September 23, criticism of a juror in that same case is "a modern day lynching." Nine days apart.
The fact check
Two claims in the September 23 clip do not hold up.
Mace said Democrats "started the KKK." The Ku Klux Klan was founded in Pulaski, Tennessee in 1865 by former Confederate veterans, not by the Democratic Party (PolitiFact, 2018).
And "lynching" is not a loose figure of speech. It names a documented history of more than 4,400 racial-terror murders in the United States, according to the Equal Justice Initiative.
A note on the case
The Lindsay Clancy case is unadjudicated. The jury deadlocked 11 to 1, and the court declared a mistrial on September 4, 2026. A retrial has not been decided. Maceopedia takes no position on the defendant's guilt or innocence and offers no view on the merits of the case. This dispatch is about Nancy Mace's own public words and the double standard in them, nothing more. We do not name, picture, or describe any juror.
The words are hers, from the public record, nine days apart. On September 14, 2026, Nancy Mace said she wanted a defendant "publicly executed" as "a warning to women everywhere." On September 23, 2026, she called criticism of a juror in that same case "a modern day lynching," and she claimed Democrats founded the KKK. Readers can watch and judge.

October 17, 2026 · DispatchEverything Nancy Mace Has Said About Muslims
Rep. Nancy Mace has spoken about Muslims and Islam on television, on X and on her own show since 2021. This documentary puts it in order, in her own voice: her 2021 words that there was no room in either party for Islamophobia, the 2025 bills, the Ramadan interview on Newsmax, the summer 2026 posts, the CNN interview with Omar Jimenez on Aug. 9, 2026, her show, the debate with Mehdi Hasan on Piers Morgan Uncensored, and her Sept. 21 comments. She says she means radical Islam and elected officials, and that she does not hate all Muslims. Her defenses appear in full, beside the fact checks.
October 7, 2026 · Dispatch'It's Pedophilia. It's Grooming.': Nancy Mace Calls Texas Senate Candidate James Talarico a Groomer and 'Not a Christian,' on a Poll Number No Published Poll Shows
In her October 1, 2026 Get Maced episode, Rep. Nancy Mace spent about five minutes on James Talarico, the Democratic nominee for U.S. Senate in Texas, over his record on transgender athletes in girls' sports. She said 'It's disgusting. It's pedophilia. It's grooming. And here's a so-called Christian running on it,' told viewers 'You should not vote for this guy,' and said that someone who 'doesn't protect women in private spaces where they're undressed isn't a Christian,' while also saying 'I'm not carrying the water for anyone in this race.' She opened the segment with 'Ken Paxton is now three points ahead of Talarico.' The Fox News poll taken September 24 to 28 had Talarico ahead, 51 to 49, and Maceopedia found no published poll with Paxton ahead by three. Every characterization of Talarico in this entry is hers. The site's own voice is confined to the poll number and the public record.
October 7, 2026 · Dispatch'She Should Get the Firing Squad': Nancy Mace Asks the South Carolina Legislature to Write a Death Penalty for One Untried Woman, Then Offers the Firing Squad to Lindsay Clancy
Two minutes into her October 1, 2026 Get Maced episode, Rep. Nancy Mace says she is 'begging the state legislature to make one exception' to South Carolina's death penalty for a Spartanburg County woman who has been charged with attempted murder and has not been tried: 'She should get the firing squad. We have that here.' She then offers the state's firing squad to Lindsay Clancy, a Massachusetts defendant whose trial is pending, and to an unnamed Tennessee defendant. The U.S. Constitution bars a state from passing a bill of attainder or an ex post facto law, so a death penalty written for one named person, after the alleged act, is not something any legislature can enact. Every quote here is verbatim from her own upload, checked against the audio. The woman she names is charged, not convicted. Her children are not named. Maceopedia reaches no conclusion about any defendant and assigns Mace no motive; the words are hers.
October 2, 2026 · Dispatch'An Easy No': Mace Cheers Trump for Rejecting Iran's Offer, Five Days After Her Own Plan Said 'Take the Meeting'
On the September 30, 2026 episode of her Get Maced podcast, Nancy Mace called President Trump's rejection of Iran's cease-fire offer 'an easy no.' As she described the offer, Iran would reopen the Strait of Hormuz within a week if the United States lifted its naval blockade and returned Iran's frozen assets. Five days earlier, on September 25, step two of Mace's own seven-step plan to end the Iran war was 'take the meeting, the president should meet with Iran's president.' In her own words, readers can line the two up: a plan built on engaging Iran, and a thumbs-up for turning Iran's opening offer down flat. She also put the frozen-asset figure at '$24 billion'; public reporting on the same offer put it at roughly $12 billion.
September 29, 2026 · DispatchNancy Mace Shows Off Her Newest Tattoo on Her Podcast: Her Two Children's Names and Birthdates, Inked on Her Ribs
On her 'Get MACED' podcast, Rep. Nancy Mace lifted her shirt and showed off her newest tattoo: a color rose across her left ribcage, and above it a two-line script that spells out both of her children's full names and their exact dates of birth. It is the 15th tattoo Maceopedia has now cataloged, and it identifies a piece the record had only listed as an 'unknown' side inscription. Mace, who has built a public brand on child safety and on a parent's right to protect a child's privacy, chose to make her kids' names and birthdays a permanent, on-camera display. Maceopedia has redacted the birthdates in the image below.
September 25, 2026 · DispatchMace Says Sharia Runs Michigan. Michigan's Governor Is Gretchen Whitmer.
On the September 21 episode of her 'Get Maced' podcast, Rep. Nancy Mace told her audience that 'Sharia law is running Michigan,' and she said it inside a sentence accusing other people of 'lying about America.' The claim is false. Michigan runs on the U.S. Constitution and a state constitution, the same as South Carolina. Its governor is Gretchen Whitmer. Fact-checkers have debunked the Michigan-sharia myth since 2015, and Girl Scouts of the USA says on the record that it teaches no religion and welcomes girls of every faith.
