A current member of Nancy Mace's staff tells Maceopedia the congresswoman is auditioning for a career in political media for after she leaves office, and that the escalating content is the strategy. Mace lost her primary for governor, is not running for re-election, and leaves Congress in January 2027. In her final months she has stood up a branded, studio-produced video operation on her personal account, a podcast set with a boom microphone and produced backdrops, posting to-camera monologues that rack up tens of thousands of views. This dispatch reports the staffer's account and lays the videos, in her own words and with view counts, alongside it.
A current member of Nancy Mace's staff says the congresswoman has already decided what comes next, and is auditioning for it on camera.
Mace (R-SC) finished fifth in the June 2026 Republican primary for South Carolina governor, did not run for re-election to her House seat, and leaves Congress in January 2027. According to a person who currently works for her, the run of studio-produced videos she has been posting is a deliberate play for a career in political media after that date. The staffer spoke to Maceopedia on condition of anonymity because they were not authorized to discuss Mace's plans. In their words:
"She thinks that's how she could pay the bills. She now knows that she's going to be out of office, and so saying outrageous things is a way to get more eyeballs, which in her mind means she'll be able to continue having her following and not need to go get a job."
Maceopedia cannot independently confirm Mace's private intentions, and she has not publicly said the videos are an audition for anything. But the public record the staffer is describing is sitting on her verified account, and it is unusually easy to see.
The studio
The videos do not look like a member of Congress answering a reporter in a hallway. They look like a show, and she posts them to her personal account, @NancyMace, rather than her official @RepNancyMace congressional feed.
She sits at a professional boom microphone. Behind her is a produced backdrop, a red-and-pink radial burst in one, a Charleston skyline in another. The clips are cut with captions and B-roll. They are branded, repeatable, and formatted for reach. Two of them ran in the last seven days.

The post reads: "Mamdani doesn't want you to use an ID to vote but he wants you to use an ID to buy food. This is the communist way." The video is a forty-three-second monologue delivered straight to camera from the studio set, ending on the line, verbatim: "They'll card you for cheese before they'll card you for democracy. That's the Communist way." It has 57,600 views and 8,700 likes as of this writing, the most-watched of the batch.

The next night she posted a four-minute monologue captioned "An explanation of the W in WNBA exclusively for white liberal women." It opens, verbatim: "I want to help the WNBA with something totally free of charge. WNBA, four letters. Let's take a look at them one by one. W is for women. That's it. You can stop watching now." It closes: "A Waffle House placemat is a better legal document than the WNBA contract. Because a category you can't define is a category you can't defend." It has 22,600 views.

Not one-offs
These are not stray clips. The same branded set shows up across a recurring series. On July 31 she posted a produced ten-minute-plus segment built around a TMZ Live panel on "GOP attacks on Dr. Fauci," opening on the same CONGRESSWOMAN NANCY MACE title card (18,000 views). The same day she posted a captioned split-screen reaction video, a cable-news clip stacked over her own to-camera response, ending on the phrase "If this conflict continues, President Trump needs to come to Congress and declare war" (17,700 views).
The production is consistent enough that it functions as a brand: same set, same framing, same cadence. It is, in form, a podcast.
Why it is on the record
Mace is still a sitting United States Representative. Whether the videos are a public service, a personal brand, or, as her own staffer puts it, an audition to "pay the bills" after January, they are being produced and promoted while she holds federal office, and aimed at an audience she intends to keep past it. That is the fact worth keeping.
