Mace tells CNN's Kaitlan Collins the airport police report was 'falsified'
On CNN's 'The Source with Kaitlan Collins' on Dec. 9, 2025, Rep. Nancy Mace called the airport police report '100% fictitious' and accused SC Attorney General Alan Wilson of orchestrating its contents, a claim Wilson rejected the following night.

On Dec. 9, 2025, Rep. Nancy Mace appeared on CNN's "The Source with Kaitlan Collins" and disputed the police report that documented her Oct. 30 confrontation at Charleston International Airport:
"I am absolutely saying that that report was falsified. 100% fictitious."
"Most of what's in there that's quoted is not true."
When Collins pressed her directly:
"You're saying these police officers are lying?", Kaitlan Collins, CNN
Mace did not walk back the accusation. She named SC Attorney General Alan Wilson, a rival in the Republican gubernatorial primary, as the person behind the alleged fabrication:
"Oh, it was the attorney general, Alan Wilson."
She further alleged that Wilson had coordinated with police and TSA agents, "One hundred percent," she said when asked if she believed that coordination occurred.
Wilson rejected the accusations the following night in his own CNN appearance (see the related dispatch).
