Mace fires back at Scott and Graham: 'REAL MEN PROTECT WOMEN'
After both of South Carolina's Republican senators publicly rebuked her over the Charleston airport confrontation, Rep. Nancy Mace posted a series of combative responses on X, questioning why male senators with personal security would criticize a woman who says she can't get the same protection, and writing 'REAL MEN PROTECT WOMEN.'

On Nov. 5, 2025, after Sens. Tim Scott and Lindsey Graham each posted rebukes of her airport conduct, Rep. Nancy Mace responded with several posts on X. She framed her security concern against what she characterized as a double standard:
"Why are two men with a half dozen personal security guards everywhere they go, offended by a woman, who has been assaulted for her beliefs, and can't get the same security, and very much cares about her safety in the wake of Charlie Kirk and Donald Trump getting shot?"
In a separate post, she wrote:
"REAL MEN PROTECT WOMEN"
A third post, addressed more pointedly at Graham, read:
"Interesting. Lindsey Graham all of a sudden wants to talk about women. 🧐 HOLD THE LINE"
Several outlets interpreted the Graham post as a veiled jab at the senator; Graham's office did not publicly respond. Scott had rebuked her on Nov. 4 (see that dispatch); Graham followed on Nov. 5 (see that dispatch).
