The day of Charlie Kirk's assassination — before any suspect was arrested — Mace told reporters:
"It sounds like the shooter was a tranny or pro-tranny."
A 22-year-old Utah man, Tyler Robinson, was later arrested; his partner was reportedly transitioning. Mace also told reporters: "I'm going to double down on this. I'm gonna be louder than I've ever been until this shit stops."
