Mace calls Matt Gaetz 'a fraud' for fundraising off speaker votes — then does the same nine months later

Appearing on CBS Face the Nation on January 8, 2023, Mace said:
"Matt Gaetz is a fraud. Every time he voted against Kevin McCarthy last week he sent out a fundraising email."
Nine months later, Mace voted to remove McCarthy as Speaker herself — and reporters were tipped that she had sent fundraising emails within one hour of the vote, and plugged her website live on CNN, drawing immediate comparisons to the behavior she had condemned in Gaetz.
