"I Muted Nancy Mace and Life Is So Much Better"
On the Fourth of July 2026, Rep. Nancy Mace posted a "250 years... God bless the United States" message. Koosemar (@koosemar) replied with a fake wellness-magazine cover, "CLEARER," whose headline read "I MUTED NANCY MACE AND LIFE IS SO MUCH BETTER," reframing the act of muting her as self-care.

On the evening of July 4, 2026, the 250th anniversary of American independence, Rep. Nancy Mace posted: "Last year, we spent the Fourth of July celebrating the passage of the largest tax cut in American history. Today, we celebrate 250 years of a nation worth fighting for. One fight at a time, we keep her free. God bless the United States."
Minutes later, Koosemar (@koosemar) answered the post with a single image: a mock magazine cover in the style of a wellness and self-care title. The masthead reads CLEARER, tagged "Issue 77," "July 2025," and the tagline "Because peace is a choice." The main cover line, set over a press photo of Mace, reads:
"I MUTED NANCY MACE AND LIFE IS SO MUCH BETTER"
The rest of the fake cover carries out the wellness parody: a deck reading "No more outrage. No more drama. Just peace, podcasts and personal growth," a corner badge that says "Protect your peace. Mute what doesn't serve you," and cover teasers for "Digital Detox: Why muting toxic voices is the ultimate self-care," "Boundaries Are Beautiful: You don't owe everyone a platform," and "Thrive In Your Silence: Reclaim your time. Reclaim your joy. Reclaim your feed."
The joke works by borrowing the language of therapy-speak and self-care marketing and pointing it at Mace's reputation for combative, high-volume posting: the "personal growth" being sold on the cover is simply muting her. It sits in the same lane as the "Hold the Waffle" and "Island of one" items, public mockery that turns Mace's own online persona back on her.
