Mark Levin to Nancy Mace: 'STFU You Washed Up Political Loser'
At 4:20 a.m. the morning after the Republican midterm losses, Rep. Nancy Mace quoted Fox News host Mark Levin on X: 'STFU. No one wants to hear a word from you. Your beloved Iran War lost seats everywhere.' At 4:44 she added: 'Mark Levin is a moron.' At 6:46 Levin answered: 'STFU you washed up political loser. You're angry because you'll actually have to now work for a living. You're one of the most mentally unhinged POS to ever be in Congress.' He ended: 'Good riddance, crackpot.' At 9:05 she replied: 'In a civilized society we'd have already put you on an ice floe and shoved it out into the middle passage.' Here is every post in order, with links, and what the record shows.

Wednesday, November 4, 2026.
Before dawn on the morning after the Republican midterm losses, Rep. Nancy Mace told Fox News host Mark Levin to "STFU" and called him "a moron." Levin answered with the line in the headline and ended with "Good riddance, crackpot." Mace answered him again two hours later. Here is the whole exchange in order, with every post linked and the record behind it.
Source: the posts on X by Mace (@NancyMace) and Levin (@marklevinshow). Times are Eastern, as X reports them.
The exchange
Tuesday, 10:33 p.m. Levin (post), with a link to a PBS NewsHour report on the AP's poll of voters:
Looks like every issue anyone can imagine is being used as the basis for the midterm loss, apart from historical trends. See the link as one example:
That said, some big issues can be separated from the rest. I will address all of this tomorrow, including the economy, affordability, demographics/immigration, Iran, the Woke Reich, and more. We need to get this right, and we need to get ready for the battles ahead with the Democrats, who are committed to taking a wrecking ball to our country.
Wednesday, 4:20 a.m. Mace, quoting that post (post). A minute later she edited it to add the last line:
STFU. No one wants to hear a word from you. Your beloved Iran War lost seats everywhere.
Devastating night. Devastating losses. Devastating for our country.
Devastating for the hard-working American who can’t afford to buy a home, or fill their tank with gas or put food on the table.
She reposted it from her own account at 6:41 a.m.
4:44 a.m. Mace, quoting the same Levin post a second time (post):
Mark Levin is a moron. And heavily contributed to the devastating losses suffered last night by republicans.
6:46 a.m. Levin, quoting her "moron" post (post):
STFU you washed up political loser. You’re angry because you’ll actually have to now work for a living. You’re one of the most mentally unhinged POS to ever be in Congress. We lost last night for many reasons, including because of useless, self-promoting, do-nothings like you. Good riddance, crackpot.
7:33 a.m. Mace reposted a post Mario Nawfal had made at 10:04 the night before: "Ben Shapiro and Mark Levin should post an apology and go offline for the day" (post).
9:05 a.m. Mace, quoting Levin's reply (post):
In a civilized society we’d have already put you on an ice floe and shoved it out into the middle passage…
She did not say what she meant by "the middle passage." Historians use the term for the forced crossing of enslaved Africans over the Atlantic.
9:13 a.m. Levin posted a long statement that names no one (post). It opens:
I am watching all the back-and-forth on this site. Much of it is nasty, petulant, dishonest, and vile. Among the worst of it are posts from washed up politicians, self-aggrandizing podcasters, website writers, etc. It's pointless to repeatedly engage each of them and their obsessive slapdash posts.
Further down he gave his own list of causes:
The mid-terms were not lost over a single issue. And anybody with a functioning brain knows that. The party not in the White House traditionally wins, some of our candidates were weak, and the messaging was confusing. Despite a robust economy, affordability remained an issue -- health care, housing, energy, etc. - and prolonging the defeat of the Iranian terrorist regime, all contributed to the results, as did the Woke Reich.
Between those posts, at 8:27 a.m., Levin also called Piers Morgan "a washed-up scumbag" (post). Mace spent election night on Morgan's live panel; here is what she said there. Levin's post about Morgan does not mention her.
What the record shows
- "Washed up political loser" and "work for a living." Mace was not on Tuesday's ballot. She ran for governor instead of a fourth House term, finished fifth in the June 9 Republican primary, and leaves the House on Jan. 3, 2027. She said so twice this morning, in replies: "I decided not to run for re election" (4:04 a.m., post) and "To be clear - I did not run for re election" (5:23 a.m., post).
- "Do-nothings." As of Oct. 15, Congress.gov listed 204 bills and resolutions Mace has sponsored since January 2021. One has become law: H.R. 6042, which named a post office on Hilton Head Island in 2022. A second, the Skills-Based Federal Contracting Act, cleared Congress on Sept. 30, 2026. See Nancy Mace Filed 204 Bills. One Became Law.
- "Your beloved Iran War." Levin has backed the war in his own words. On March 26, 2026, he wrote: "For Nancy Mace to say no ground troops or I won't support the war effort is, to me, utterly irresponsible." In the same post: "His use of the military in Iran and Venezuela has been brilliant and precise" (post).
- Her own record on the war. On March 5, 2026, Mace voted against a war powers resolution and said: "This is not the time for Congress to tie the hands of our Commander-in-Chief. We must finish the job." Three weeks later she walked out of a classified briefing and posted that she "will not support troops on the ground in Iran" (dispatch). On Sept. 15 she voted for the war powers resolution, one of seven Republicans in a 220 to 204 vote (dispatch).
- "Crackpot." Levin has used the word for her before. On Feb. 12, 2024, he posted: "Time to can Nancy Menace, crackpot" (post).
Levin on Mace, before today
Levin has posted about Mace on X since at least January 2023:
- Jan. 11, 2023: "Wouldn’t it be nice if Nancy Mace actually did her job? Her act is getting old." (post)
- April 10, 2023: "Lawless Nancy Mace, constitutional illiterate" (post)
- Oct. 4, 2023, after she voted to remove Speaker Kevin McCarthy: "Nancy Mace, self-serving DC hack" (post), and that night, "Nancy Mace is a disgrace" (post)
- Oct. 5, 2023: "A real conservative needs to primary Mace and get her out of there" (post)
- Oct. 7, 2023: "Nancy Mace, freak, fraud, phony" (post)
- Feb. 12, 2024: "Time to can Nancy Menace, crackpot" (post)
- March 26, 2026, on her opposition to ground troops in Iran: "I have never been a fan for several reasons." (post)
- Aug. 18, 2026: "Well, I don't care if Nancy Mace has tattoos or not. There's a lot worse in life." (post)
We found no earlier post of hers that names him.
The rest of her morning
Mace posted about the war through the morning:
- 4:17 a.m., quoting a CNN exit-poll finding that Democrats won young white men by 17 points: "Iran war." (post)
- 4:45 a.m.: "We lost young white men because they don’t want to be conscripted into a war they don’t want to fight!" (post)
- 5:32 a.m.: "Ignore the neocons who are pretending the war didn’t nuke the economy." (post) At 6:41 she replied to herself: "Pun intended."
- 6:36 a.m.: "We lost good people last night. Some of them deserved better. Some of them should have listened. The American people did not ask for another war in the Middle East. They told us. Loud and clear." (post)
- 7:14 a.m.: "This fucking war. That’s the tweet." (post)
- 7:24 a.m.: "All the work we did all these years to gain the majority only to be swindled away by a very unpopular war, a life many can’t afford to live and too few republicans willing to stand up and stand against the policies that got us here." (post)
- 7:40 a.m.: "We didn't get regime change in Iran. We got regime change here. Let this be a warning." (post)
How X reacted
- Matt Gaetz, the former Florida congressman, quoted Levin's reply at 8:31 a.m.: "Mark Levin is crashing out over the fact that it was his advice that resulted in a massive regime change in a huge oil-producing government. It just happened to be Texas, not Iran." (post)
- Michael Flynn, the retired Army lieutenant general and President Trump's first national security adviser, replied to her 4:20 a.m. post at 8:10: "Your words ring very true!" (post)
- Owen Jones, the British columnist, replied to Levin at 7:39: "Temper temper! You got your war with Iran don’t you? Something wrong with your order sir?" (post)
- Under Levin's reply, replies nearly matched likes: about 3,400 replies to 3,600 likes, with nearly 500,000 views, by 10 a.m. The most-liked replies attacked him over Israel and the war.
- Under her posts, readers split. "You have a lot of issues and @marklevinshow isn’t the cause. He is a Patriot!" (post). Another reply posted a screenshot of her record and wrote, "you also voted against the War Powers resolution" (post); that was her March 5 vote.
- Under her ice-floe reply: "Nancy if you showed this side of you before elections you could’ve won just sayin." (post)
- Grok, X's AI, was asked in the replies which of the two posts was "more angry and insulting." It answered: "Mark Levin’s post is clearly more angry and insulting." (post)
- Mediaite wrote up the exchange at 8:53 a.m.

November 4, 2026 · DispatchNancy Mace on Election Night: 'The Only Thing Worse Than Being Fed a Pile of Sh*t Is Being Asked to Swallow It'
Rep. Nancy Mace spent election night on Piers Morgan Uncensored's live panel in Washington. Watching the House seat she is leaving slip toward a Democrat, she said, 'I just found out, we're losing my seat,' and then, 'the only thing worse than being fed a pile of shit is being asked to swallow it.' When CBS called South Carolina's Senate race for Democrat Annie Andrews, she said, 'It's not unfucking real,' and added, 'Sorry, you said I could curse.' Two hours earlier she had said of Andrews, 'This was not a hard race.' She was not on the ballot. She said she won the seat by 18 points in 2024; it was 16.6. She called herself one of 'the only four Republicans who voted to release the Epstein files'; the House vote was 427 to 1, and the four were the Republicans who signed the discharge petition. November 3, 2026 · DispatchNancy Mace Says She Promised Three Terms in 2020. The Only Pledge on Record Says Something Else.
Nancy Mace says that when she first ran for the House in 2020 she promised to serve only three terms. The pledge she signed as a candidate in 2019, the U.S. Term Limits pledge, is a promise to co-sponsor and vote for a term limits amendment; it does not say the signer will leave office. We searched the 2020 record for the personal promise she describes and found it in no source from 2020. This page sets her statements beside the record, with every source.
October 29, 2026 · DispatchNancy Mace Backed Ending Daylight Saving Time. Then She Didn't Show Up to Vote On It.
Nancy Mace was recorded Not Voting on the July 14 passage vote, and in her final year in Congress she missed a higher share of roll calls than all but two of the 426 members on the Clerk's record for every roll call. Through September 16 she was Not Voting on 103 of 314 roll calls, 32.8 percent. Two members missed more, and both told the public why. For July 13 and 14, and for most of her other missed votes, we found no reason from her. Her absence did not change the 308 to 117 result, and the Senate has not acted. This page sets the Clerk's record beside her posts, with every source.
October 22, 2026 · DispatchNancy Mace is leaving Congress. Why, and what is next?
Nancy Mace recorded her goodbye to Congress at home on Oct. 22, 2026. She leaves the U.S. House on Jan. 3, 2027, and gives four reasons: a term-limit promise, press coverage she calls false, threats, and fatigue. Each is set beside the public record, from her 2020 win to fifth place in the June 9 governor primary, along with reasons she did not list: a House Ethics review with no announced result, and $176,206.28 in campaign payments to two law firms that the FEC filings describe only as legal fees, with no FEC investigation on the public record. Then the race for her seat and the media business she is building next.
October 21, 2026 · DispatchNancy Mace's campaign paid her lawsuit lawyers $176,206
FEC filings show Nancy Mace for Congress paid $176,206.28 in six months, from Dec. 22, 2025 to June 15, 2026, to two law firms: Pillsbury Winthrop Shaw Pittman LLP ($150,000 in three payments) and Moorman Law Firm LLC ($26,206.28). Those are the two firms on the signature block of the defamation suit Mace filed in May 2025 against Eric Bowman, which her complaint says she brought as a private citizen. The campaign had reported about $24,264 in legal fees in the seven years before, and it reported $0.00 in receipts for January through June 2026. Every filing line says only legal fees. No public record shows what the payments covered, and there is no finding of any violation and no FEC matter on the public record. This documentary, about fifteen minutes with a Short, lays out the filings, the court record and her own words.
