The South Carolina Republican gubernatorial primary is scheduled for June 9, 2026. Nancy Mace entered the race as the early polling front-runner, recording approximately 24 percent in internal campaign polling in March 2026, but her support declined through the spring.

On May 29, 2026, former President Donald Trump endorsed Pamela Evette, a rival candidate in the Republican primary. By late May, polling placed Mace at approximately 12 to 15 percent.

Results for the June 9 primary should be added once certified returns are available. See the 2026 Governor Campaign entry for full background.
