On November 3, 2025, speaking publicly about her October 30 confrontation at Charleston International Airport, Mace said:

"I am not going to apologize. If there is an incompetent government employee at the airport who is expecting an apology this morning, you are not going to get it."

Mace made the statement as local and national outlets continued to cover the airport incident and the police report documenting her remarks.
