Bryan Stern

Founder and CEO of Grey Bull Rescue, a Tampa-based veteran-led crisis-response nonprofit that embedded Rep. Nancy Mace during her March 2026 Israel evacuation missions.

Bryan Stern is the founder and CEO of Grey Bull Rescue, a Tampa, Florida-based veteran-led nonprofit that conducts crisis-response and humanitarian evacuation operations. The organization describes the March 2026 Israel missions as its "808th mission." Grey Bull had previously evacuated 66 Americans from Israel before Mace's involvement (Military.com, March 2026).

What Happened

During Rep. Mace's first Middle East trip in early March 2026, she embedded with Grey Bull Rescue as Stern's team helped evacuate 155 Americans, including 11 infants, from Israel to Greece amid the 2026 Israel, Iran war. Stern said of Mace's participation: "Congresswoman Mace was fully embedded with our team, not to watch, but to work to save lives." (Fox News)

In a separate matter, Dr. Lauren Hofstatter publicly alleged Grey Bull delayed her daughter's return from Jordan unless approximately $1 million was raised, calling it "embezzlement and extortion." Stern denied the accusation, which is unproven and contested. Grey Bull briefly suspended operations. Mace defended the organization.
