Nancy Mace claims police report about airport incident was 'falsified'
CNN's Kaitlan Collins interviewed Rep. Nancy Mace on 'The Source,' pressing her on the airport police investigation findings. Mace called the report a 'political hit job' and claimed it was 'falsified,' attributing the report to a conspiracy involving South Carolina Attorney General Alan Wilson.

One day after the Charleston Airport Police released its investigation findings, Rep. Nancy Mace appeared on CNN's "The Source with Kaitlan Collins" to dispute the report. Collins pressed Mace on specific quotes attributed to her in the police investigation, including allegations that she called officers "f***ing idiots." Mace denied the characterizations, accused Wilson of orchestrating what she called a "political hit job," and attributed the report to a coordinated conspiracy. Mace later posted on X that she had misspoken during the interview when she denied ever calling anyone an idiot.
"I am absolutely saying that that report was falsified. 100% fictitious."
