Legislative Record: Every Bill Nancy Mace Has Introduced

A complete list of every bill Nancy Mace has sponsored in the U.S. House of Representatives across the 117th, 118th, and 119th Congresses -- 187+ bills introduced, three enacted (all post office renamings).

Nancy Mace has introduced more than 187 bills and resolutions across her three terms in the U.S. House of Representatives (117th through 119th Congresses). Three of her sponsored bills have been enacted into law: all three are post office renamings from the 117th Congress. No substantive policy bill she authored as primary sponsor has ever been enacted.

The tables below are sourced from the GovTrack API and Congress.gov. Two bills from the 117th Congress (H.R. 264 and H.R. 2988) that did not appear in the GovTrack dataset have been added from Congress.gov records. The 119th Congress is ongoing and the list for that session will grow.

Bills Enacted Into Law

Three bills Mace sponsored as primary sponsor have become law. All three designated post office buildings in her South Carolina district after figures with historical ties to the region. Post office renamings are routine ceremonial measures that regularly pass Congress with bipartisan support and without opposition.

The TAKE IT DOWN Act: Setting the Record Straight

Mace attended the White House signing ceremony for the TAKE IT DOWN Act on May 19, 2025, and has promoted the law as a signature achievement on nonconsensual imagery. She was not, however, the sponsor. H.R. 633 (119th Congress) was sponsored in the House by Rep. Maria Elvira Salazar (R-FL); the Senate companion was sponsored by Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX). Mace had introduced separate bills on nonconsensual deepfakes in prior Congresses (including the Protect Victims of Digital Exploitation and Manipulation Act in both the 118th and 119th Congresses) that were not enacted. She was a cosponsor of H.R. 633, not its author.

All Bills by Congress

117th Congress (January 2021 - January 2023)

Mace introduced 24 bills and resolutions in the 117th Congress, her first term. Two of the three enacted bills came from this session, as did her only bipartisan whistleblower bill to pass the House. The GovTrack dataset included 22 of these bills; H.R. 264 and H.R. 2988 were added from Congress.gov records.
