The investigation documented that Mace used profanity toward TSA officers, called them "fing idiots," and declared she was "sick of your s." A TSA officer described her demeanor as "very nasty, very rude." Mace disputed the report's characterizations.
"Her continued failure to follow established procedures at the checkpoint is what turned a minor miscommunication over the color of a vehicle into the spectacle that this issue has become."
