Nancy Mace accused the SC Attorney General of 'political hit job.' He says that's a 'categorical lie.'
South Carolina Attorney General Alan Wilson appeared on CNN's 'The Source with Kaitlan Collins' the night after Rep. Nancy Mace's interview, flatly denying her claim that he orchestrated the airport police report. Wilson called Mace's accusation a 'categorical lie' and described her conduct as that of 'an entitled spoiled brat.'

South Carolina Attorney General Alan Wilson, a rival of Rep. Nancy Mace in the 2026 Republican gubernatorial primary, used a CNN appearance to rebut Mace's claim that he had conspired with airport police and the TSA to fabricate the incident report against her. Collins had aired Mace's accusations the previous night; Wilson denied any involvement and questioned the basis for Mace's allegations. Both candidates are competing for the 2026 GOP nomination for governor, lending a political dimension to their competing accounts of the airport investigation.
"It's a categorical lie. It's also delusional and crazy for her to make these kinds of crazy accusations."
